Dhuhr time today
Dhuhr, the midday prayer, begins just after the sun passes its highest point and continues until Asr begins.
Why Dhuhr times vary
Because it follows solar noon, Dhuhr is the one prayer on which all calculation methods agree. It rarely falls at 12:00 on the clock: time zones, daylight saving and the time of year can move it past 1:00 PM.
On Friday, Jumu'ah replaces Dhuhr in congregation. Mosques set their own Jumu'ah times, often later than the start of Dhuhr.
