Isha time today
Isha, the night prayer, begins once twilight has disappeared and, in the main view, its preferred time runs until the middle of the night.
Why Isha times vary
Like Fajr, it depends on a chosen sun angle. Far north in summer, the sun may never go low enough, so timetables use a high-latitude rule that divides the night instead. Some timetables, such as Umm al-Qura, use a fixed gap after Maghrib.
Scholars differ on when Isha finally ends. Praying before the middle of the night is the widely preferred practice.
